Hibiscus schizopetalus

Reference : HIB-SCH-000

The Hibiscus schizopetalus, commonly known as the Japanese Lantern, is a shrub with glossy green, evergreen, lacy foliage that can grow up to 3 m high.

Description

The flowers are spectacular. They are drooping, with 5 very long-stalked, pinkish-red, coral-coloured petals. This plant is not hardy, it needs heat to grow. This hibiscus can be pruned very well, which will allow it to be restricted in height. It blooms from the end of May to October.
