Fuchsias are semi-shade perennials that flower a lot. A fuchsia flower can be of any shape, double, single, small, large, long, in tubes, in corollas... Hybrid fuchsias flower for a very long time, beginning in April if conditions permit and ending at the time of the frost. They will add colour to your perennial flowerbeds, your window boxes, your terraces...

You are looking for cold-resistant outdoor plants: Perennial fuchsias can withstand temperatures as low as -15°C. This ability to withstand low temperatures is linked to its ability to restart from its rootstock. Perennial fuchsias will give structure and colour to your garden.

Fuchsia is usually planted and cuttings taken in spring, but can also be taken in autumn. Fuchsias require half-shade or shade, especially in the afternoon. Fuchsia generally grows in all types of soil, and particularly likes cool, light soil, although it does well in clay.

The hybrid fuchsia is a flowering plant that is easy to care for. It can be overwintered in two ways: in a pot or in the ground. Our online garden centre offers you the possibility to select the varieties according to the place where you want to plant it.

If there was a choice to be made among all our fuchsia varieties, it would be the variety Fuchsia Blue Sarah. In addition to its unique blue colour, this variety has many other advantages.
