Green Chayote

The Christophine or Green Chayote, a liana plant native to Mexico and tropical areas, has fruits appreciated for their diversity of culinary uses.

Description

This variety is larger than the white one. The husk is edible.

Christophine likes light, permeable and rich soil.

During hot weather, keep the soil cool and cover with a good mulch.
