Mexican tarragon or Tagetes lucida is an ornamental plant that can be grown mainly over one year, but can also be cultivated as a perennial, provided it is protected from the cold. It has bright yellow flowers. Mexican tarragon's foliage gives off a pleasant aniseed scent. Its leaves are used in desserts and dishes.
